"The afternoon winds have picked up, as they routinely do here in Cafayate, in the far northwest corner of Argentina. The Malbec grapes in the vineyard just outside my villa are coming in nicely, and a short-lived hailstorm last Sunday night did no damage. In a few hours, I’m off to Bad Brothers for dinner, a new restaurant that international entrepreneur David Galland recently opened and which, because of its ambiance and truly fantastic finger foods — such as short ribs, truffle mac and cheese, and gazpacho (and a lemon mousse that’s ridiculously good) — has already become the third-highest-rated eatery in town, according to folks who rate local joints on TripAdvisor."
